Welcome!

This little blog started on our wedding website, which kept family and friends up to date on the planning and details. Of course this is where we will provide all of the recaps of the wedding and everything after. We look forward to keeping family and friends up to date on our lives here in Texas and all of the adventures we share as newlyweds!

  1. yum! this all looks so good, I'm not doing the majority of cooking but I am going to make a Baked Brie, maybe another dish too if inspiration strikes!

  2. Oh Gosh this looks so good and fancy! I am bringing Thanksgiving to my boyfriends French family and neighbors in France.... The idea is to stick to the classics! We will see how they like it... Though... I am loving your cocktail... whats the recipe?

  3. I figure it's worth learning to cook the full meal really well while it's just Rene and I sooner or later it's going to end up being me cookies for full families (eventually)....

Cocktail recipe! It's savory and sweet so not all sugary--* 2 1/2 ounces vodka,* 2 ounces walnut liqueur, we got Nocello

Garnish with * 3 fresh cranberries* 1 sprig rosemary * 1 walnut, toasted
Toasted walnut in the bottom of the glass, then use the rosemary as a stir stick and stick the cranberries onto it leaving a little bit of rosemary out of the top...(compliments of the November food network magazine)
