As promised I figured I would post some of the many cookies I've baked in the past couple of weeks...I will have to say though that not one of these remains the office and Rene and I gobbled them up!
I am a big fan of macarons and these were perfect!! A basic butter cream and chocolate butter cream filled delight!
I would highly suggest trying the recipe listed on FoodNetwork's website...our first batch was wonderful and produced the above, however I tried again last weekend and Rene used a little bigger item to trace for the cookie and they didn't turn out nearly as good...so maybe I'll try again this weekend.
The trick is whipping the egg whites enough but not too much....quite tricky!
