Well August always means that Rene and I will be eating some tasty dinners with Dallas Restaurant Week! Each year high end restaurants around the area offer a price fixed menu ($35 per plate) and a portion of the proceeds go to the food bank.
The only sad part is the we usually only get to taste 2 of the locations and there are always so many to choose from! This year we have a reservation during preview week which is this week on Saturday and then another next week on Friday night.
I am quite excited to say the least! I love trying new places around town and without spending the typical $50-60 per plate cost!
Saturday we will be trying Bolla at the Stoneleigh Hotel in Uptown (which is just north of downtown Dallas). It will be a nice way to round out the week especially since Rene has been gone again this week--something to look forward to as the weekend draws near!
